About

I’m not an “extreme” coupon person, just a smart shopper. I’ve been using coupons and tracking down bargains since I was in grade school — long before the craze of “extreme couponing” made the news.

Saving money isn’t just about matching a Cheerios coupon to a store ad —there are countless retail coupons, travel bargains, military discounts and cheap deals for family activities available to stretch your budget even further.

If you’re really not sure where to find grocery coupons, here’s a list of resources. I generally post very FEW grocery coupons on The Couponess because there are hundreds of websites that do that already. I focus on savings outside of the grocery store.

I love finding and posting bargains for popular clothing retailers, restaurants, cosmetics stores, craft stores and even travel deals. I won’t deny how much I love freebies (I post the good ones here) and I’m a big fan of Facebook. I find plenty of great coupons there (find them here) for products that I like to use. (You can find The Couponess on Facebook here. I often post last minute deals I find on the web there instead of on this site, so stop by.)
