Halloween is just weeks away and UNICEF is offering kids a chance to design their own Trick-or-Treat collection boxes. Children can enter their designs into our Create-a-Character Contest and the winning designs will be on next year’s limited edition UNICEF (The United Nations Children’s Fund) box collection.
As a child, I remember assembling the little orange box and taking it around with me on Halloween night.
My parents made certain that I realized collecting donations to help children who needed help was as important as scoring the most Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups in my trick-or-treat bag.
What a great way to show your child how to help others while having fun on the spookiest night of the year.
The 2012 UNICEF boxes have been re-designed with six brand new characters that kids will love —a monster, black cat, princess, pumpkin, vampire and a witch.
Fundraising kits containing the character boxes, the blank collection box for design and new educational resources may be ordered online with free shipping at trickortreatforunicef.org or by calling 1-800-FOR-KIDS while supplies last.
