Free 4th of July 2012 Theme Park Admission for U.S. Military

Members of the U.S. Military get free admission to theme parks on the 4th of July, 2012 with many offering discounts on tickets for family members. Enjoy a free day of fun at Knott’s Berry Farm, Kings Dominion, Carowinds Theme Park, Cedar Point, Knott’s Soak City, and Kings Island theme parks when you provide proper Military ID at the ticket booth.

Free admission is not just available on July 4, 2012. All of the theme parks listed below are offering this military freebie for at least two days surrounding Independence Day.

Carowinds Theme Park  in Charlotte, North Carolina is offering free admission to any active and retired U.S. military personnel July 3-4, 2012.

Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia is offering free admission to active duty and retired U.S. Military personnel who present a valid military I.D. Valid July 3 -4, 2012.

Kings Island in Kings Island, Ohio is offering free admission for all active and retired U.S. Military from July 3 – 5, 2012. Buy discounted tickets for up to six family members for $29.99.

Knott’s Berry Farm in California is offering free admission to active and retired members of the U.S. Military July 2 -6, 2012. This offer is valid at Knott’s Berry Farm, Knott’s Soak City water parks in Orange County, San Diego and Palm Springs. Discounted admission tickets for members of their immediate family (maximum of six) are available at the gate.

Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH is offering a free admission to the park for all members of the Armed Forces July 1 – July 4, 2012. Discounted tickets are available for family members.

Most theme parks will accept the following as valid Military ID: An active Duty ID, VA Medical System Picture ID, Retired Personnel ID, or a copy of DD-214 discharge papers.
