Veterans Day 2011: Applebee’s Offers Free Meal to Veterans and Active Military

Veterans Day is Friday, November 11, 2011. Applebee’s restaurants are once again offering a free entree to all Veterans and members of the US Military. This is the third year that Applebee’s has offered this military freebie, with 1,024,000 million free meals served last year.

Guests will need to provide on of the following for proof of service: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, photograph in uniform or wearing uniform, DD214, Citation or Commendation.

The free signature entrees at Applebee’s include:

7 oz. House Sirloin, Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger, Three Cheese Chicken Penne, Chicken Tenders Platter, Oriental Chicken Salad, Fiesta Lime Chicken, and Double Crunch Shrimp

This offer is valid for dine-in only. Traditional sides are included with the free entrees. Dessert, beverages and gratuity are not included.
